Lenovo announced their new 2-in-1 hybrid laptop that is among a new breed of computers that run the Snapdragon 835 Processors from Qualcomm instead of the traditional Intel or AMD CPUs that virtually every modern computer uses.
The computer comes with Windows 10 S, a 12.3" tablet screen, a backlit clip-on keyboard and a stylus. Lenovo claims that it can last up to 20 hours. The Lenovo Miix 630 is expected to be in stores in the second quarter and it's priced at $799 in the US.
Samsung did not make much of an impression at CES this year as many of us anticipated the announcement of the Galaxy S9, but they did unveil something decent for us.
An early version of the replacement to Samsung's 2017 Q9F flagship series was revealed at CES. Samsung has listened to the criticisms it received about last year's versions and is aiming to fix the issues one at a time.
The new Q9F replacement uses a direct lighting system, where the light lays behind the screen rather than around the edges.
HP revealed updated versions of two of their laptops at CES. The updated HP Spectre x360 15 is one of the first Laptops to run Intel's new 8th generation Core Processors with AMD Radeon RX M GPUs. Prices for the x360 15 are to begin at $1,369 and is to start shipping by March 18th.
• Sony AF8
The Mirage Solo features 110 degrees of field of view for it's 2560 X 1440 LCD display, two camera at the front, power button, a MicroSD card slot, volume control buttons 3.5mm headphone jack and a 4000mAH integrated battery. It also included Google's Daydream remote for better interaction with apps and games.
In terms of performance and software, the headset is loaded with the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4gb of RAM, and Google's Daydream OS. The Mirage Solo is expected to be priced at under $400.
It has a slim, sleek body, it's 16mm thick and has a 15" edge-to-edge infinity display with 4K resolution. The 360 degree hinge also enables it to be used in tablet form. The redesigned keyboard uses what Dell calls 'maglev' technology, which makes the keyboard even thinner.
The new XPS 15 2-in-1 is said to be starting at $1,299 in the US and is to be out by this spring. No word yet on when it will be available internationally.
• HTC Vive Pro
HTC announced the new Vive Pro with higher-resolution displays and built-in headphones. The dual OLED displays have been increased from 2160 x 1200 to 2880 x 1600, which helps to read texts easier and makes the display clearer and crispier. The new Vive Pro is made to be more comfortable when in use, with a sizing-dial added to help adjust the level of comfort and also has less weight and more balance.
You'll be able to attach the Vive wireless adapter to the Vive Pro headset which connects with your PC and you'll no longer need to be tethered to your PC via a cable.
The price or release date is yet to be announced, but it's expected to be out in a few months time.
• LG Rollable OLED TV
LG Display revealed their 65 inch OLED TV a successor to an 18 inch prototype unveiled a few years ago. Not much information has been revealed about it yet except that it's a 65 inch display with UHD or 4K resolution.
The technology enables more storage space, easier transportation and definitely has a futuristic feel. It certainly has the potential to change the electronic display world in the near future.
• Acer Swift 7
Acer calls it the thinnest laptop ever made. The Acer Swift 7 (SF714-51) is a 8.98mm sleek, super-thin Laptop. The Laptop features a 14 inch Gorilla Glass Touchscreen display with very narrow bezels, 4G LTE connectivity, and a black aluminum design.
It carries the 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 256gb of SATA PCIe SSD Storage, 8gb of LPDDR3 Memory, a backlit keyboard, 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution display and has up to 10 hours of battery life.
It will be on sale by April and prices are expected to go at $1,699 & £1,699.

Over the years, new car companies have taken advantage of the growing consumer presence and public attention that CES always brings. Last year, new electric car company Faraday Future unveiled their first production vehicle, the FF91. This year another new car company is planning on joining the electric vehicle market.
China based company, Byton unveiled it's electric vehicle which doesn't have a model name yet but it plans on selling as a production model next year. A fully-charged model can get you to an estimated 250 miles, and the single rear-mounted motor packs 272 horsepower. The high-performance dual-motor version will get you around 476 horsepower for 325 miles, according to Byton.

The interior of the vehicle boasts a very sleek and luxurious look and feel. The normal vehicle dashboard has been replaced with a screen that spans through the entire dashboard area, the front seats can rotate inward at 12-degrees, an 8 inch tablet is embedded in the steering wheel and screens are located at the headrests of the front seats to entertain the passengers behind.
Byton plans to sell the SUVs mainly to US customers and according to Byton, the version showcased at CES was 85 percent of the final production version. Byton estimates the price to be at $45,000.
